Promoting digital wage payments in the Cambodian garment sector hero image

The ILO Global Centre on Digital Wages and the Textile, Apparel, Footwear and Travel Goods Association (TAFTAC) in Cambodia will host an online session during the 2024 OECD Forum on Due Diligence in the Garment and Footwear Sector. This session will focus on Cambodia's transition from cash to digital wage payments in the garment sector. It aims to discuss the role of digital wages in supply chain development and compliance and address challenges for the transition to wage payments of smaller factories without direct engagement with international brands.
